Higher Poynton, Macclesfield Canal – Saturday 31 August 2013
I spent
Friday messing about and tidying up the inside with breaks for tea with the
other owners and an evening meal in the Boar’s Head (the local Pub).
Saturday
there was a bit of exercise walking into Poynton and back, I had intended to
return on the bus but the stop in the main street (it’s a free for all as it
looks pedestrianized but cars can go along it) has been moved to ‘around the
corner’ but the old one is still in situ “in case the route is altered back” and
the timings are different on both stops.
The bus only runs every hour and I didn’t want to waste more time. When I got back I washed the roof of the boat
starting to get ready for the open week-end.
The sun
was out both days
