Macclesfield Canal – Thursday 05 September 2013
Still in
the yard, yesterday the blue and maroon were painted and today the cream
diamonds were done. The starboard side
black has been redone, then the boat was taken out and winded and back in so
that an area that looks like it was shot at can be treated. That gave me the opportunity to do the port
side black. the Morse fitting was looked
at and caused a sharp intake of breath – so it’s expensive.
On the
Open day side the various owners got together and put up the marquee while it
was dry, the evening will be spent taking over the Boars Head for a boisterous get
together
