2014 – Dane Aqueduct, Macclesfield Canal
I have spent the last eight weeks doing “stuff” - exploring the towns
along the Macclesfield, pestering Peter and Susan to get some minor jobs done,
visiting Kendal to dog-sit Jess and basically lazing around and enjoying the
weather. The paint jobs have to wait
till next year but are booked into Susan’s diary.
Today I started back down towards Uxbridge and have got to Dane Aqueduct
(below the Bosley Locks) a run of about 25 ‘Lock-Miles’. The weather at the start was overcast but by
10:30 the sun was breaking through and has remained.
