2014 – Fazeley Junction, Coventry Canal
Last night I moored just after Middle lock and left at 08:00 turning on
to the Coventry Canal. It has been a
drizzly day but there are lots of boats moving about – predominately hire or
day hire with a couple of groups dressed as pirates. One even let me pass as they “were only out
for a pootle” (their words). I was here
by 11:30 and have moored just before the Tame Aqueduct. The Little Chimney Company boat is also moored
here and doing good business.
This afternoon I have caught up with the Referendum reports (now can we
have home rule for the English?) and then watched the Singapore Grand Prix
qualifying rounds. I will not be moving
on tomorrow.
